The work was undertaken with great commitment beginning construction of many buildings at the same time. The COP investments were accompanied by the development of communication and energy infrastructure. The energy was to be provided by hydro and thermal power plants based on the raw materials available here.

As part of the 30-year program, more than thirty different facilities were to be built - power plants and retention reservoirs. Until 1939, hydroelectric plants in PorÄ…bka, Rożnów on the Dunajec and Czchów were advanced, works were completed in Czorsztyn, Solina and Myczkowce. The investments in Rożnów were completed by Germany, and many others were completed many years after the war.

 

  • By 1938, approximately 300 km of Gorlice-JasÅ‚o-Krosno-Ostrowiec gas pipeline was built, but it was not possible to bring it to Warsaw.

  • A glassworks and arms factories were founded at Rozwadow - ZakÅ‚ady PoÅ‚udniowe - after the war known as KM Huta Stalowa Wola and a new city, which was given the name Stalowa Wola. Produced there, among others howitzers 100 mm;

  • A synthetic rubber factory and a tire factory (Gum Gum Factory "Stomil") were built in DÄ™bica under a Swiss license, paints;

  • In Mielec - PaÅ„stwowe ZakÅ‚ady Lotnicze;

  • In Rzeszów - a factory of machine tools and artillery equipment (a branch of PoznaĹ "Cegielski plant - current Zelmer) and a factory of aircraft engines of State Aviation Works (current WSK PZL Rzeszów);

  • In Niedomice near Tarnow - cellulose factory for the production of gunpowder;

  • In DÄ™bie - Ammunition Factory No. 3 (today's Dezamet in Nowa DÄ™ba);

  • In Nowa Sarzyna, in 1937, the construction of ZakÅ‚ady Chemiczne was started. They were supposed to produce nitro-compounds - especially explosives. The mechanical start-up took place in 1939, but chemical production did not run until the beginning of World War II. After the war, production was resumed in 1954. Existing armaments factories and ammunition factories were expanded;

  • In Tatars, a truck factory was prepared under the Chevrolet license and the existing aircraft factory was modernized;

  • A weapon factory was expanded in Starachowice;

  • In Pionki, the State Gunpowder Factory Pionki was modernized (post-war plants and record label Pronit);

  • The State Weapon Factory [3] was expanded in Radom;

  • In Tarnobrzeg (Mokrzyszów), the construction of ZakÅ‚ady Metallurgiczne has begun.
